WOMEN RUNNING VIETNAM - 2026
During my trip to Vietnam from the Mekong Delta in the south to the high mountains in the north, from the hustle and bustle of the cities to the tranquility of the countryside—one reality became abundantly clear to me: Vietnamese society rests on the shoulders of its women. Whether they are street vendors in Hanoi, guides in the rice paddies or on boats, or hotel managers, they are the true driving force behind the country. Through this photographic project, I wanted to highlight this omnipresence.
These images are a direct and sincere testimony to a deep conviction: in Vietnam, women do not merely participate in society as the national narrative suggests; they carry it. They are its true architects.
